More About Me

Children have been important to me since I was 8 years old and wanted to be a Pediatrician. Thirty years later, with a Special Ed degree and a doting father of two precious bundles of joy, I am fulfilling my dream of making a difference in kids' lives. I have taught for over 16 years, first at the Walker Home & School, and now at Kehillah Schechter Academy. Being in the classroom to open up a world of wonder and excitement and laughter is such holy work that God's presence is felt constantly and I treasure every moment I am with my students. Ok... so now back down to Earth. I teach 8th Grade Science (love teaching middle-schoolers!), and am the 8th grade Homeroom teacher/advisor and an Instructional Technology Coach at Kehillah Schechter Academy (KSA). Outside of school, I tutor and I love to garden, polish silver, sell items on Ebay, and perform Laughter Yoga (soon, I will finish my course and become an official Laughter Yoga Instructor! - Ha-Ha!!!!).
