More About Me

I am a personal/ class tutor of mathematics and science, especially physics. I help people at all levels including basic numeracy & literacy, GCSE and A-level and university level. As well as having a BSc degree in mathematics and physics, I have a PhD. in engineering/ physics/ material science with postdoctoral research experience at Imperial University. I have several years experience of providing personal tuition and have a varied career of teaching including part-time lecturing at university, voluntary work teaching children with learning problems, organising group classes and assisting in the work in a school in rural Kenya. Other work experience includes working in scientific publishing and providing I.T. support. I have received praise from pupils for increasing confidence, helping to achieve higher than expected marks, forming a strong rapport with pupils and making learning interesting.
